With over 25 years of experience in general dentistry, I am proud to offer my patients a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to exceptional care.
My journey in dentistry began with a BDS from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1997, and I have since continued to advance my knowledge with an MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons, England (2010), and a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies (DPDS, Bristol, 2015, with merit).
Throughout my career, I have worked in a wide variety of settings, from busy NHS practices in Sunderland to remote outposts in Australia, and even within the Norfolk and Suffolk prison service as lead dentist. For the past nineteen years, I have been based in London.
I am passionate about minimally invasive dentistry and endodontics, and I am committed to staying at the forefront of the profession. My experience spans both NHS and private dentistry, and I regularly collaborate with visiting specialists on complex treatment plans. I have extensive experience in restoring implants and am fully trained in Cerec (Omnican). My work is meticulously documented through clinical photography, and I am dedicated to maintaining the highest standards through regular clinical audits and peer review.
My dedication to postgraduate education is reflected in my ongoing commitment to professional development and my role as a leading scholar in periodontology, for which I was awarded the Marsh Midda Prize in 2012. I am a proud member of the General Dental Council, British Dental Association, Faculty of General Dental Practice, Dental Protection, The Dental Aligner Academy, and The Hybrid Layer: Biomimetic Dentistry. Currently, I am doing a diploma in clear aligner therapy.
Building trust and rapport with my patients is at the heart of my approach; many travel from across the UK and even from abroad for their care. I believe clear, accurate communication is essential, especially when guiding patients through complex or elective treatments.
Outside of dentistry, I am a keen sportsman, keeping fit through running, cycling, and 5-a-side football. I enjoy music, theatre, and spending quality time with my family. I am settled in London with my three children and am committed to continually expanding my knowledge and qualifications to provide the very best care.
